Description
Watercolor and charcoal; 10″ x 16″
Painted on Arches cold press, 140 lb watercolor paper
This piece is titled, “Acceptance” because it is about accepting both the hard and the good in life. Two flowers are juxtaposed pointing opposite directions. A poinsettia symbolizes merriment and celebration, where as a poppy flower symbolizes sacrifice and death. I painted this contemplating the new year as 2020 drew to a close.
